AURA-Q Terms of Service

1. Eligibility and Authority

You may use the Site only if you can form a binding contract under applicable law. If you use the Site for or on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization to these Terms, and “you” includes both you and that organization.

The Site is not directed to children under 13. A person who has not reached the age of legal majority where they live may use the Site only with the involvement and consent of a parent or legal guardian.

2. Nature of AURA-Q

AURA-Q is an independent experimental research and computational engineering platform. The Site presents scientific inputs, methods, software-generated analyses, trajectory calculations, optimization studies, mission-modeling results, visualizations, provenance information, and research status.

The Site is provided for research, informational, educational, and evaluation purposes. Unless Faster Tips expressly agrees otherwise in a separate written agreement signed by an authorized representative, the Site is not a commercial mission-design service, flight-operations service, navigation service, safety system, certification service, or professional engineering engagement.

3. Research Disclosures and Required Independent Verification

You understand and agree that:

1. Published trajectories, launch windows, mission analyses, feasibility labels, optimization outputs, and related materials are computational research outputs. They are not operational flight plans, launch authorizations, flight certifications, or instructions for controlling a spacecraft or other vehicle.
2. Ephemeris availability, trajectory computation, optimization results, validation results, and research-readiness states do not constitute approval, endorsement, or certification by NASA, JPL, any space agency, regulator, launch provider, spacecraft manufacturer, or other third party.
3. Illustrative diagrams may simplify physical scale, body size, time, orbital geometry, or other features unless the applicable visualization expressly identifies the displayed geometry and scale as calculated.
4. Quantum-computed or quantum-optimized results do not, by themselves, establish quantum computational advantage over classical methods. Any express comparison must be interpreted only within its stated objective, method, hardware or simulator, dataset, assumptions, and validation criteria.
5. Research outputs may depend on assumptions, approximations, numerical tolerances, software versions, selected objective functions, model constraints, source-data coverage, and other stated or unstated limitations.
6. A result labeled “feasible,” “calculated,” “validated,” “qualified,” “ready,” or with similar terminology has only the meaning assigned to that term in the applicable AURA-Q methodology, legend, or research context. It does not establish operational suitability, regulatory approval, safety, manufacturability, mission success, or fitness for a purpose outside that stated context.
7. Scientific data and computational outputs may contain errors, omissions, defects, artifacts, or stale information. Results may change as methods, inputs, software, or datasets are updated.

You are solely responsible for independently verifying every input, output, assumption, calculation, and conclusion before relying on it. You must use qualified professionals, authoritative current sources, mission-specific engineering, appropriate validation, and all required safety and regulatory processes for any real-world application.

You may not use the Site or any AURA-Q output as the sole or controlling basis for spacecraft design, navigation, launch, flight operations, collision avoidance, human safety decisions, mission-critical systems, regulatory submissions, procurement, investment decisions, or any activity in which an error could cause death, personal injury, property damage, environmental harm, or material financial loss.

4. No Professional Advice or Relationship

Nothing on the Site constitutes engineering, aerospace, navigation, safety, legal, regulatory, export-control, financial, investment, insurance, or other professional advice. Accessing the Site, contacting us, or receiving a response from us does not create a professional-client, fiduciary, confidential, partnership, joint-venture, agency, employment, or other special relationship.

Do not send trade secrets, export-controlled information, classified information, mission credentials, security keys, or other sensitive or confidential information unless Faster Tips has expressly agreed in advance, in a separate signed writing, to receive it.

5. Limited Permission to Use the Site

Subject to these Terms, Faster Tips grants you a limited, personal, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable, and non-sublicensable permission to access and view the Site for lawful research, informational, educational, and internal evaluation purposes.

You may quote reasonable excerpts from publicly available Site content for commentary, scholarship, or research if you accurately attribute AURA-Q, do not misrepresent the content or our conclusions, and comply with applicable law. Any separate license displayed with a particular dataset, software component, artifact, or download controls for that item and prevails over conflicting terms in this Section.

No permission is granted to use AURA-Q names, logos, trade dress, screenshots, visualizations, or materials in a way that suggests sponsorship, endorsement, certification, partnership, or affiliation without our prior written consent.

All rights not expressly granted are reserved.

6. Intellectual Property and Third-Party Materials

As between you and Faster Tips, the Site’s original software, interface, design, selection and arrangement, written explanations, original graphics, visualizations, branding, and other protectable content are owned by Faster Tips or its licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws.

The Site incorporates or references scientific facts, public-domain materials, open materials, and third-party data or software, including materials associated with NASA, JPL, NAIF, and Horizons. Those materials remain subject to their applicable legal status, notices, licenses, attribution requirements, and provider terms. These Terms do not claim exclusive rights in facts, public-domain works, or third-party materials, and do not grant you rights that Faster Tips does not possess.

“AURA-Q,” associated branding, and Faster Tips branding may not be used without prior written permission. Third-party names and marks belong to their respective owners. Reference to a third party does not imply its endorsement of, sponsorship of, or affiliation with AURA-Q.

7. Prohibited Conduct

You may not, directly or indirectly:

• use the Site unlawfully, fraudulently, deceptively, or in violation of another person’s rights;
• present an AURA-Q research output as an operationally approved flight plan, certification, guarantee, or third-party-endorsed result;
• remove, conceal, or alter copyright, attribution, provenance, trademark, or other proprietary notices;
• reproduce, republish, sell, license, commercially exploit, or create a substitute service from a material portion of the Site except under an applicable separate license or written permission;
• use automated means to access the Site in a manner that creates unreasonable load, bypasses access controls or rate limits, disregards technical restrictions, or interferes with Site operation;
• attempt to gain unauthorized access to any system, data, account, nonpublic endpoint, storage location, credential, or network associated with the Site;
• probe, scan, or test a vulnerability without our prior written authorization;
• introduce malware, destructive code, harmful payloads, or other disruptive technology;
• falsely imply that you are Faster Tips, AURA-Q, or an authorized representative, partner, or agent of either;
• use Site content to violate export-control, sanctions, launch-control, national-security, or other applicable laws; or
• help another person engage in conduct prohibited by these Terms.

Reasonable use of ordinary browser functions, public search indexing that follows applicable technical directives, and good-faith security reporting to us are not prohibited merely because they involve automated or technical activity.

8. Links, Sources, and Third-Party Services

The Site may link to, depend on, cite, display, or interoperate with third-party websites, data providers, software, platforms, services, or publications. Faster Tips does not control and is not responsible for third-party materials, availability, security, accuracy, legality, policies, or practices. Your use of third-party materials is governed by the applicable third party’s terms and policies.

Third-party references are provided for provenance, context, or convenience and do not imply endorsement in either direction.

9. Feedback and Communications

If you voluntarily submit comments, corrections, ideas, suggestions, or other feedback about the Site (“Feedback”), you grant Faster Tips a worldwide, perpetual, irrevocable, royalty-free, transferable, and sublicensable right to use, reproduce, modify, publish, distribute, and otherwise exploit that Feedback for any lawful purpose without payment or restriction.

This license does not apply to material covered by a separate written confidentiality or intellectual-property agreement signed by an authorized representative of Faster Tips. You represent that you have the rights necessary to provide any Feedback you submit.

10. Site Availability, Changes, and Research Versions

We may add, modify, correct, replace, suspend, restrict, or discontinue any part of the Site or any research output at any time. We do not promise that any route, result, dataset, visualization, identifier, link, or historical version will remain available or unchanged.

You are responsible for recording the publication date, version, provenance, assumptions, and other context required for your use or citation of a result. Cached, archived, mirrored, or third-party copies may be incomplete, altered, or outdated.

We may correct errors without notice. No update creates an obligation to revise previously published material, notify users, or preserve prior outputs.

13. Assumption of Risk

You assume all risk arising from your access to, use of, inability to use, interpretation of, or reliance on the Site and its outputs. You are responsible for maintaining appropriate safeguards, backups, independent calculations, professional review, testing, operational controls, and insurance for your activities.

14. Indemnification

To the maximum extent permitted by law, you will defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Faster Tips and its affiliates, members, managers, officers, employees, contractors, agents, licensors, contributors, and service providers from and against any claims, demands, actions, proceedings, liabilities, judgments, damages, losses, penalties, fines, costs, and expenses, including reasonable attorneys’ fees, arising out of or related to:

• your use or misuse of the Site;
• your reliance on, implementation of, distribution of, or representations about any Site content or research output;
• your violation of these Terms or applicable law;
• your infringement, misappropriation, or violation of another person’s rights; or
• content or Feedback you submit.

We may assume exclusive control of the defense of a matter subject to indemnification, in which case you will cooperate with the defense. You may not settle a covered matter in a way that admits fault by, imposes obligations on, or fails to fully release Faster Tips or another indemnified party without our prior written consent.

15. Suspension and Termination

We may restrict, suspend, or terminate your permission to access or use the Site if we reasonably believe you violated these Terms, created risk or potential legal exposure, threatened Site security or operation, or used the Site in a manner inconsistent with its intended research purpose.

Upon termination, the permission granted in Section 5 ends immediately. Sections that by their nature should survive termination will survive, including provisions concerning intellectual property, Feedback, disclaimers, assumption of risk, liability limits, indemnification, dispute resolution, and general terms.

16. Export Controls and Sanctions

You are responsible for complying with applicable export-control, sanctions, import, and trade laws. You may not access, export, re-export, transfer, release, or use the Site or its technical materials in violation of those laws, or for a prohibited end use or prohibited party.

Nothing on the Site authorizes access to controlled technical data, circumvention of access restrictions, or conduct requiring a governmental license or approval.

17. Governing Law and Venue

These Terms and any dispute arising out of or relating to the Site or these Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Arizona, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except to the extent federal law applies.

To the extent a dispute is not subject to another binding written agreement between you and Faster Tips, you and Faster Tips consent to the exclusive jurisdiction and venue of the state and federal courts located in Maricopa County, Arizona. Each party waives any objection based on inconvenient forum or lack of personal jurisdiction in those courts.

Before filing a claim, each party agrees to send the other a written description of the dispute and requested relief and to make a good-faith effort for at least 30 days to resolve the matter informally. Notices to Faster Tips under this paragraph must be sent to ask@faster.tips with the subject line “Legal Notice — AURA-Q.” This informal-resolution requirement does not prevent either party from seeking urgent injunctive or equitable relief.

18. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The “Last Updated” date identifies the current version. Updated Terms become effective when posted unless a later date is stated. Your continued use of the Site after updated Terms become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

If a change requires affirmative consent under applicable law, we will seek that consent before applying the change as required.

19. General Terms

These Terms, together with any item-specific license or other agreement expressly incorporated into them, constitute the entire agreement between you and Faster Tips regarding your use of the Site. A separately signed agreement between you and Faster Tips controls to the extent it expressly conflicts with these Terms.

If a provision of these Terms is held invalid, illegal, or unenforceable, it will be enforced to the maximum extent permitted and the remaining provisions will remain in effect. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. You may not assign or transfer these Terms or your rights under them without our prior written consent. We may assign these Terms in connection with an affiliate relationship, financing, merger, acquisition, reorganization, sale of assets, or operation of law.

Headings are for convenience only. The words “including” and “include” mean “including without limitation.” These Terms do not create third-party beneficiary rights.
